Licensing CyteSeer

CyteSeer will view images and numeric data for free, without a license.

A license is only required to create masks or numerical data from your image sets. Follow these steps to license your copy of CyteSeer or CyteSeer Pro. Contact Vala Sciences' Sales to discuss pricing, academic discounts and partner pricing.

CyteSeer will prompt you for a license file when the 'Run' button is clicked.

If you do not have a valid license file installed, click 'No'

CyteSeer will collect a unique number to identify your specific machine and connect you to the Vala website.

Please fill out and submit the form.

Most requests are filled within 1 hour during normal business hours. Please contact us with any questions.

A valid license will be sent you via the email address you submitted. Please save the license somewhere it can stay long term. Now that you do have a valid license file, click 'Yes' when prompted and browse to wherever you just saved the file.

The file is delivered as a text file via email and the installation location is unimportant as long as you remember where the license file was saved. CyteSeer should now be licensed.

You will need to repeat this procedure of the license file is ever changed or deleted.
