I noticed that the measurment list does not output the Summed (Capital Greek Sigma) mask area in a microtiter well, which also affects total integrated intensity measures.  Can a “measure” plug-in be easily adapted to include this ouput, or, a new plug-in be created for this output?  This is an important measure in the 3D cell cultures of the differentiation assays conducted here in the lab.  It gives us an approximate measure the differentiation efficiency.

Hi Paul,

You can do this with the “Create Contant Labelled Mask” plug-in.

Create a “whole-image” labeled mask that is 1 everywhere on the image. You have to supply the width, height, and label. You can get the width and height of any image using another plugin that takes an image as input and puts out the width, height, and bitdepth as outputs.

Once you have a constant labeled mask, then make the measurement over that mask.
