Our high content screen quantifies the effect of test compounds on the expression levels of VE-Cadherin (VE-CAD), an integral membrane protein which establishes cell-cell junctions and critical to vascular permeability and development. This assay also visualizes the effects of test compounds on the cellular localization of VE-CAD.

Vala Sciences’ high throughput assay screen quantifies the effect of test compounds on the expression levels of E-Cadherin (E-CAD), an integral membrane protein essential to cell-cell adhesion and a known tumor suppressor whose expression is down-regulated during tumor progression. This assay quantifies test compound action on the up-regulation or down-regulation of E-CAD and images for cellular localization.
